Yesterday
Read-only. A quiet record of what happened. Nothing to argue with, nothing to fix — just the receipt of a day already lived.
I · The Premise
Stop reacting to the world and start leading your day. Checkera is the 24-hour timeline for iPhone that turns chaos into a quiet, disciplined plan.
A Golden Task
Your one needle-mover today. Distinct gradient + a different alert tone.
The Now line
Always knows where the day stands.
II · The Window
Most apps trap you in an infinite list. Checkera gives you exactly three days of attention — a triptych built for the rhythm of an actual life.
Read-only. A quiet record of what happened. Nothing to argue with, nothing to fix — just the receipt of a day already lived.
The Now line marches down the timeline. One Golden task to anchor the day. Everything else is supporting cast.
Where you dump open loops without cluttering your future. No notifications. No noise. Just intention, set down before bed.
III · The Hierarchy
Two tones, two visual languages — so you always know the difference between the errand you can move and the promise you have to keep.
"Distinct tones ensure you know when it's time to perform."
IV · The Pact
Your data stays on your iPhone. No sign-ins, no data mining, and no
"productivity shame" from cloud-synced streaks.
Just a tool for you and your goals — quiet, private, and entirely yours.
Every task, every minute, every change lives in a SwiftData store on your phone. Not on a server. Not in a backup we can read.
No sign-in screen. No "create an account" wall between you and writing your day down.
No analytics SDK. No crash reporter sending strings off-device. No funnel watching what you scroll.
" Plan is worthless, but planning is everything. "
V · The Routine
Tap once. Yesterday's morning ritual lands on today, intact — coffee, stretch, journal, walk. The discipline you've already designed, carried forward without typing.
VI · The Glance
The Checkera widget lives on your home screen. One look — you know exactly where you are in the day.
Add it to any home screen — no unlocking, no app launch.
Green bar updates as you complete tasks across the day.
Tap the widget to jump straight into today's task list.
VII · Open Questions
Granular enough to schedule a real day, coarse enough to make decisions fast. Snapping to quarter-hours means fewer choices to make and a cleaner-looking timeline. If you need 9:07, ask yourself if you really do.
Tomorrow is for planning, not for performing. Notifications would pull your focus from today’s execution to tomorrow’s anxiety. We let tomorrow stay quiet until it becomes today.
No. Checkera v1 is intentionally single-device. Your timeline lives in a SwiftData store on this iPhone — we don’t see it, and we don’t sync it. iCloud sync may come later, but it will always be opt-in and end-to-end private.
"Bring tasks from last time" handles 90% of what recurring would. Tap once, your morning ritual lands on today. Cleaner mental model than rules, fewer ghosts on your calendar.
Not in v1. We don't want to add productivity shame to your day. Checkera is a tool to plan, not a leaderboard for guilt.
